Our Wealth Management Process
Free initial meeting
An initial meeting is conducted without charge or obligation. We feel this is important as it also provides you with an opportunity to assess us. The meeting usually lasts for 40 minutes.
Stage 1 – About you – Goals and Ambitions
The first stage is to gain an understanding of your personal circumstances and your current financial situation. This will include a detailed understanding of your present financial position and your general aims in order to build a profile we will require details of your occupation, your savings & investments, mortgage and loan liabilities together with your tax position.
This stage also involves gaining an understanding of your objectives and your aspirations, as well as any concerns that may arise. Risk and reward is an important part of financial planning thus we will need to identify your attitude and tolerance to investment risk in order to construct an appropriate investment portfolio.
Stage 2 - Analysis
Having gained a clear understanding of your objectives we will discuss our analysis and initial thoughts. Having obtained your agreement we will then conduct our research and prepare the recommendations to achieve your goals. We will also provide an indication of our costs for the work to be undertaken.
Stage 3 – How to get there
At this stage we will present the draft recommendation report setting out your personal situation and stated destination. The report will contain your current income, expenditure including any liabilities and how your existing finances can be used to meet your objectives. The report will also take account of all the costs of the in order to provide clear and concise understanding.
Phase 4 – Implementation
Once the recommendation has been accepted we will seek your approval to implement the recommendations.
Phase 5 – Review the plan & updates
Review dates will be agreed and can take place annually or more frequently if required, ongoing fees will be agreed in line with the chosen service level.
The purpose of regular monitoring of your Personal Financial Plan is to enable you to clearly see progress towards reaching your financial goals, and make any agreed adjustments. Working closely with you we will explain the ongoing progress and agree any modifications to keep you on track towards your stated goals.
